In order to support the company growth, payfair is looking for
an Application Engineer to join Application Services and
Operations team on a 1 year contract basis with opportunity of
prolongation. Most of the work will be delivered in our offices in
Belgium (Brussels-Kraainem). Occasional (insignificant) travel to
our partners and data centres in Europe, mainly in Belgium and
the Netherlands, might become part of the assignment.

 

Main responsibilities are:
• Running various applications used by payfair personnel and
customers, while acquiring and maintaining end-to-end
knowledge of these applications
• Performing daily, weekly, monthly tasks to ensure high

 

requirements, and to execute assigned operational procedures
• Monitoring continuous processes and taking action when and
where required
• Delivering first and second line support for operational issues
identified internally, by customers and suppliers
• Participating (up to managing) releases and other
deployments, and performing acceptance testing and other
quality assurance assignments
• Ensuring proper reporting and follow up (daily, weekly, etc.)
• Supporting other teams with:
• analysing and assessing customer requests
• implementing and activating new customers on payfair
systems
• improving procedures and systems to make operations
processes more efficient
• implementing changes to procedures and systems to meet
business and other requirements
• maintaining technical and procedural documentation
describing systems, processes and procedures

 

Core skills are:
• knowledge of (card) payment systems; at least some degree
of knowledge is expected
• minimum 2 years' experience in a role similar to the role
outlined above (full or partial match is expected)
• previous experience with merchant acquiring and/or transaction
processing is a strong benefit

 

 

• knowledge of Linux and MS Windows configuration, Oracle
DBMS and SQL, MS Office suite, Exchange Server, files and
printers sharing
• service and customer oriented, pro-active, highly dynamic
and with strong personal drive
• English is the main working language. Dutch, French and
German are considered benefit
• problem solver, stress resistant
• advanced IT skills, experience with office and web-based
programs
• computer programing skills is a plus, but not required

a Product Officer to join Product and Pre-sales team (part of
Operations) on a 1 year contract basis with opportunity of
prolongation. Most of the work will be delivered in our offices in
Belgium (Brussels-Kraainem). Occasional travel to partners
across Europe and MENA regions might become part of the
assignment. Project management is a part of the assignment.

 

Main responsibilities are:
• Developing and managing payfair products; create
corresponding documentation and specifications
• Delivering business and functional analysis and specifications
in relation to payfair products

 

• Executing on pre-sales assignments
• Managing projects related to payfair products
• Ensuring proper reporting and follow up
• Supporting other teams with
• end-to-end expert knowledge of payfair products and
specifics of their implementations with customers
• analysis of customer demands and their impact on payfair
products
• improving procedures and systems to make implementation
and operations processes more efficient
• analysing and suggesting changes to procedures and internal
systems to meet business and other requirements
• maintaining all product documentation up-to-date

 

Core skills are:
• previous experience with issuing, acquiring, transaction
processing and/or e- and m-commerce
• knowledge of (card) payment world, business and systems,
protocols and standards (e.g. EMV, 8583, 20022, NFC,
authorisation, clearing, settlement, exceptions); knowledge of
mobile telecom world and systems is a benefit
• excellent analysis, product development and product
management skills, exposure to system architecture and
integration, including integration of 3rd party offerings and
components
• minimum 2 years' experience in a role similar to the role
outlined above (full or partial match is expected); pre-sales

 

 

experience in (card) payments is a strong benefit

Service Delivery Officer to start in a new team within Operations
on a 1 year contract basis with opportunity of prolongation.
Most of the work will be delivered in our offices in Belgium
(Brussels-Kraainem). Occasional (insignificant) travel to our
customers and data centres in Europe and MENA regions,
might become part of the assignment. Service Delivery,
Customer-Support and (some) Account Management activities
are at the core of this assignment.

 

Main responsibilities are:
• Working together with S&M and Operations teams and delivering
high quality service to customers

 

• Delivering first line support for all customer requests,
hands-on and in coordination with the external call centre.
Liaising, coordinating and following up with other teams for
second and third level support
• Organizing and following up communication with customers
• Maintaining regular contacts with selected accounts in
respect to service delivery and eventual enhancements (service
and account management)
• Ensuring proper internal and external reporting and follow up
(daily, weekly, monthly, etc.)
• Participating (on behalf of a broad customer base) in
acceptance testing and quality assurance

• assessing and reporting on customer requests
• maintaining Frequently Asked Questions and knowledge base
